The heavy wooden door to the poetry archive creaked open with a low, resonant groan that sliced through the stillness just after midnight, carrying with it a faint draft scented with the night's chill and distant rain. And there she was—Sophia Gagnon, my new TA, stepping into the dim glow of antique brass lamps like she'd been conjured from one of the yellowed pages lining the walls, her presence instantly transforming the musty air into something charged, alive. At twenty-one, with that bronze skin glowing warmly under the soft, flickering light that cast golden halos around her form and her dirty blonde asymmetric side bob framing her forest green eyes, she carried an air of sultry mystery that made the air thicken, pressing against my skin like an unspoken invitation. I could already imagine the smoothness of that skin under my fingertips, the way her eyes might darken with desire, but I pushed the thought away, reminding myself of the lines we shouldn't cross—professor and student, archive and academia. She wore a fitted black blouse tucked into a high-waisted pencil skirt that hugged her slender, graceful 5'6" frame, the fabric whispering against her curves with each step, her medium bust subtly accentuated by the blouse's cling, rising and falling with a rhythm that drew my gaze despite my best efforts. I watched from behind my desk, the worn oak surface scattered with fragile manuscripts that suddenly felt like flimsy barriers, pretending to sort them with deliberate slowness, but my pulse quickened as she approached, thudding heavily in my ears, a betraying heat rising in my chest. Her graceful gestures— a light touch to the spine of a leather-bound volume, fingers lingering as if caressing a lover, the subtle sway of her hips that sent ripples through the pencil skirt—already weaving...
